Echinacea

Hi all,

Feel a cold coming on and my blood sugar is a bit higher than usual.

I'd usually take echinacea, which works for me, but is it ok for diabetics?

Can't find anything much online and nothing on the bottle.

Thanks!

Lizzie xx

Dislikes
soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
Just check there's no sugar in the mix and try some vitamin D too. D3 that is. It helps against viruses too

When I feel a bit of the lurgy coming on, I buy a tube of effervescent Vitamin C. They are usually about 1000% the rda of Vit C.

Very effective at keeping the lurgy at bay. (And they taste a lot like Orange Tango! )

Thanks guys,

I took some drops last night (echinacea in an ethanol solution) and it seems to have done the trick.

Will also try the vitamin C tabs as I don't eat oranges etc anymore.

Thanks again xx
