Congrats and well done its all possible without to many problems.
My sister started on 4 injections a day at 13 months old , she will be 60 in October and is now on a pump.

I became diabetic at 34 and am now 65 on five injections a day.

A family thing as mum at nearly 93 is on 2 a day and a tablet, dad died last year at 92 on tablets but his death was not diabetes related.

Well done. I was diagnosed 1n 1975 and so far so good. Like you I was told there would be a cure in 10 years - still waiting.

Just diagnosed Type 2- January 16. HbA1c 50- No medication. Next HbA1c test April 21st.
73 now... don't think I need 50 years. not knowing much about Diabetes it must have been hard work for you' again well done old chap.

Lol it wasn't hard work for me, my Mum takes all the credit in that department, I'm a not so young 55 year old female
