Well I'm going to spend some time in there Queens that is in a week or so. I hope they are going to be a bit more enlightened about the choices I may wish to make concerning my diet.
If you going for a stay, take some banting food with you and ask them to put it in the fridge, even if you have to survive on cheese for a couple of days! Hope all goes well! x

I admire all of you who are making LCHF work for you. Personally I cannot follow this completely but generally watch my carbs so would say moderate amounts. I have been told not to lose any more weight (56 kg) but cannot increase fat. My BS are ok although would like them to be lower.
On the hospital food front, I was in last year with sepsis and they could not tell me the sugar content of deserts but kept insisting that I was not eating enough for the amount of meteor in I take. In the end I sent my son out for salads every day- they would not put anything in the fridge. Keep asking if you are in hospital, good luck.
