Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

6.2 - need to get this down, but not sure how. didn't have any carb snacks late at night. don't use insulin so far.

Using my new SD Codefree machine now.
Didn't fully wake up this morning until 8am (slept through the local radio station, has that effect on me!). Tested from finger on right hand and got a 8.6 So out of curiosity (and because I thought I would be lower) I did the left middle finger and got a 6.7 curiosity continued (just as well these strips are far cheaper!) and I did every finger on both hands......... So my ranges were from 6.7, 7.4 7.8 and finally an 8.0 So curiosity has now turned to confusion! I would like to claim the 6.7 please if I am allowed!
I PROMISE I will only test one finger after this and stick to it!
Off now to take our lady dog to see Dave-the-dog and try to get puppy labradors in the making! Only problem is our dog is being very coy! Maybe an interesting day ahead

Surprisingly: 5.3 yesterday at 7.55am after an extremely high sugary midnight snack Pre and post meal levels up and down like a yoyo all day though...

Today: 6.2 at 10.25am - finally slept late after being awake and hungry most of the night, I probably ate breakfast about 3 times!

09.45: 7.8 (before breakfast)
11.40: 7.7 (after coffee and a blob of cream)

23.30 6.8 (heading off to my bed)
