hello!

not sure if it is related to diabetes, but I often get pimples from early age, but until now at middle age too!

I sometimes try to break them and I end up having a red patch on my face skin

is there a way to treat or even conceal that?

getting older, they take too many weeks to go away

the problem is with the ones in the forehead, the rest in the cheeks or chin go away faster

any advice?

thanks!

Following a low carb lifestyle will help with your acne issues
My OH had terrible acne, massive sebaceous cysts, especially on his cheeks. . Nothing worked in getting rid of them.
10 or so weeks ago he joined me in low carbing (tho he eats more carbs than I do). His acne has cleared up drastically. People now comment on how much better he is looking.
So give it a good try and see how you go.

Dairy seems to be highly implicated in acne. Try dairy free for a while and see if it helps.

I agree that low carbing improves the skin. Although never troubled by the heavy scarring type acne, my skin always needed managing. So I've tried everything from the wide array of OTC products available at the pharmacy to courses of Roaccutane - available via a Dermatology specialist's prescription. I can honestly say the simplest and most effective treatment is a very low carb diet.

Never in a million years would I take that stuff. Saw what it did to a close relative and a disaster.

Yeah it can be quite dramatic, but if the dosage is calculated accurately it can be very effective. It is also available as a topical application. I remember reading an article about the two scientists that developed the treatment. They had been using it for decades and they literally looked 20 years younger than they were because their skin was in such a healthy condition.
