Late on parade and hurting all over this morning - probably arthritis flare-up due to the next batch of heavy rain heading our way. Feeling very sorry for myself.

Hi Debra, I feel for you as I have arthritis in my hands and fingers, I notice a flare up in wet weather too. Cheer up my mother has an old saying < Oh well never mind it won`t always be dark at six> not sure what it has to do with life.

Poor you - that's just the worst thing when you're not feeling 100% yourself, isn't it? I guess that's why they say you can't take care of others if you don't take care of yourself first. Thinking of you and sending big, soft hugs xxx

6.8 this morning consumed a pot of cashews at the cinema, thinking it was health carb choice (well it was over the jelly sweets!) - now realise they are most carby nut going. Ho hum, this is a learning process ...

Too much protein can turn to glucose mate.
We should have nil by mouth, not.
Enjoy those occasional treats. It depends on your body's insulin which ones work best for you.
