My GP said I'm not diabetic but mine was 6.3 and I'm looking at the majority of replies in this thread like...

@LittleWolf we have to work hard to get our 6s. None diabetics are in their 6s from time to time. Your doctors blood test will be better proof. What number was that?
Have you a meter to test for your 6.3?

6.3 - highish for me but just stopped metformin

Mine took a while to settle after stopping Metformin, don't worry - it will come down if you keep good control

My BG was 8.5 at 2.30 (got up VVV early to go to Billingsgate!) and then just tested it again and it's 9.1!! Not eaten anything yet so why is it higher?!!

If it continues to rise, ask if your metformin being increased would help?
Otherwise its just the variant on your meter. They all have them.
Well done for remembering to test that early.
