I'm not sure if this is a Diabaetic sympton and wonder if any others get it.
Although quite warm on the outside I often feel quite a chill on the inside. I wondered if it was a low sugar sign.

I noticed over the last few month, i'm always cold, even in bed. Last Thurday then when my levels went up to 30, i was freezing at 23 degrees room temperature.I didn't know i'm having uncntrolled diabetes.

Now, that the BG is down to 8 or 9, i'm not cold anymore at all.

Kentishman,

This is a question that keeps coming up from time to time. It would seem from previous postings that there is a correlation between feeling cold and diabetes, I know this winter I have felt it more than ever. Accepted its been a cold winter this year, but even indoors I feel it more than in previous years.

As for a sign of low blood sugar, it would be wise to test to confirm or rule out, hypo syptoms do present some strange signs in different people, so always best to test for peace of mind.
I know this may seem strange, but since tightening my diabetes control I feel that I am more sensitive to both cold and heat, can't for one moment think why, but I am! :?
