Have you been told why your pancreas is not producing the enzymes it should? It can be for a number of reasons and knowing that would help me to direct you to appropriate advice and support.

Hi and welcome!
There is a section of the forum (will post the link below) for people with pancras issues and diabetes. I have seen a number of posts there talking about Creon, so you will get some input from fellow sufferers.
hi thank you for your replys ,doug I was taken to hospital 2 years ago after vomiting blood in my drs surgry ,I was taken to the hdu where I was told my glucose level was 69 and that I was type 2 .I am on insulin twice a day and creon before each meal .no one has told me why my pancreas isn't working properly but it might have been my very high glucose levels
Creon doesn't usually have the kind of side affects you are getting. It is more likely you are not absorbing vits & mins as this is one of the pancreas jobs. You may need to have supplements a blood test from GP will find out.
hi shar67 I started on vitamins and minerals plus cod liver oil about a week ago thinking this might help ,my diabeties specialist suggested I might not be getting the goodness from my food .I have had my thyroid tested that's normal ,creon helps with my stomach problems but my hair is really dry and coarse its a nightmare to comb

Hi I also take creon 10,000 x 4 (40,000 in total) with every meal and adjust with a snack.
Now with me I damaged my pancrease 2 years ago after heavy drinking (after losing both parents) and my pancreatic doctor said that my pancrease was severely scared inside and out and that I would be type 1 diabetic.......my local GP is treating me for type 2 but I've just seen my specialist and he says my pancrease is slowing down and eventually stop producing insulin and that's what's happened, I goto my diabetes nurse today to start insulin plus tablets......
Did your specialist tell you what caused your pancrease problems ? If not you should ask your GP
