Depends on when the readings were taken. Fasting between 4-6 is considered normal, between 6-7 is generally classed as pre-diabetic. Over 7.0 diabetic.
Two hours after meals would generally be below 8 (could be 8.5?)
Also depends on what you have eaten.

oh great. LOL ! Fasting I was at 6.9. Two hours after meals I was 6.1 & 6.7. I just had a call from the doc saying my cholestrol was sky high and need to change my diet, so thought I would test the BG as well. I need to move more but have bad ME and cant. TY !
So have I, Ming, which does make life very difficult but you need to move something if at all possible even while you are just sitting in a chair or lying in bed. Every little thing you can do will help loads - but don't stress about it!!
If the weather gets better I can potter in the garden... right now its pouring cold rain. I do go walks on good days, I know what you mean but its definitely slug mode :twisted:
