Insulin
Hi. I seem to be having problems with my novarapid insulin. I count my carbs correctly, and inject 10mins before eating, but my sugars are high after 2 hours and still after 4 hrs then all of a sudden I can go from 7 to 3 in an hour. Does anyone have this problem.

I would do some basal testing first @hughsey just to make sure that isn't to blame for your high's & low's.

I go to bed with sugars of 8 - 9 and end up in the morning with low sugars below 4

If you've no active insulin on board (meaning Novorapid) then that would mean your basal dose is too high, especially if the 4-5mmol/l drop is a regular occurrence.

If in doubt what to do speak with your DSN and they'll advise further.
