I got my wristband and key ring last month after requesting them over a year ago. I don't get any diabetes related spam emails.

Ahhhhh it takes a year to get these then? I just thought they were never going to arrive

You cannot do it yourself you have to ask a administrator to do it for you.

Why join in the first place if you want to leave after a year with only one previous post, seems pointless and a waste of time to me.

Has anyone else found that when they click on links and tags on this site they get directed to an American ad for a diabetes "cure"? I clicked on the forum tag at the top of the Home page this evening and was twice linked with this site and other links on other pages have taken me there too. Can the Administrators look into this as it's worrying to think that the site might have been hijacked and it gives a seal of approval to this ad which is promoting a fad diet to cure type 2. How can I alert the Administrators to do this?

I use Firefox browser and have Adblock - I dont see any adverts on any site ...(well, a few get past on FB)
