I didn't know Soo2 but always sad news when they pass on. Condolences to the family.

I also didn't know Soo, but I remember seeing a number of contributions from her around the site. It is always sad news when one of our own departs this life, and I hope her passing was smooth and peaceful.

I'm very sad to tell you that Soo2 has passed away. I know many of you knew she was ill, and cared about her very much. She was a lovely lady and she will be missed here.

Her daughter asked me to let you know and to tell you how supportive Sue found this forum and the people on it.

I have officiated at a number of funerals in my time, and also lost loved ones of my own. I have learned that there are no words that a man can utter that can heal the broken heart of those family and friends left behind. We sympathise but cannot empathise. If we could reverse the situation we would gladly do it – we are, in some ways, speechless.

Therefore I turn to a higher source:

“To everything there is a season,

and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh;

A time to mourn, and a time to dance;”

Sue’s battle with Diabetes is over. Her advice to those on this Forum, who are still in the midst of battle, is over. Her voice will no longer be heard – but she will be remembered.

Loved ones, it is time to mourn – but when the mourning has ceased, wipe away your tears and rejoice in that Sue did in her lifetime, in her suffering, try to help others with the same problems – in this Forum - now she goes to her reward.

“...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.
