I have been eating so much recently. I can't really stop eating Chocolate. I have to have some every day. Please could someone suggest a diabetic alternative. I am type 1 diabetic. Also I'm going to start making smoothies. Does anyone know any recipes for diabetic smoothies?
Low-Sugar Strawberry Smoothie

A strawberry smoothie with less than 10 grams of sugar.
Ingredients
- 8 fl oz unsweetened soy milk
- 1 cup spinach
- 5 medium strawberries
- ¼ cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- ⅓ cup cooked oats (cooled)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 stevia packet
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients into the Nutribullet cup.
- Pour in the unsweetened soy milk to the max fill line.
- Blend together until smooth and consistent.

This is a low calorie and a low carb smoothie that contains huge amounts of Vitamins A, C and K!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp virgin coconut oil
- ¼ cup chopped fresh mint
- ¼ cup chopped flat leaf parsley
- 1 medium rib celery, chopped
- ½ cup frozen organic mango
- 1 cup organic kale, ribs and stems removed)
- Coconut Milk or Coconut Water to fill line
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to your large nutribullet cup, saving water for last.
- Once you have filled the cup with water to the fill line, puree ingredients to desired consistency.
