Various news articles suggests United lost $1.6 Billion (USD) in value since this 'incident' happened.
It appears that Dr Dao (the victim) will be suing the airlines for around$300 million (USD). This is an unmitigated disaster due to their (the airlines) set procedures. No amount of 'spin' by PR gurus can undo the damage already done. To think that the CEO initially stated that they were "removing an unruly passenger ... "

His face hit the other aisle seat pretty hard when the big 'ol cops reefed him out of his seat.

I hope he gets a good settlement, but I bet he will never fly United again.
