An uncomfortable 3.4 this morning. I've restarted my metformin and it makes a big difference to my insulin need.
It's been a rollercoaster since stopping insulin and metformin for those few hours. (No met for 3 days).

you´ll only know the real difference after a week without ... because there is also a long term effect on blood levels not only on the emediate morning fasting blood glucose... don´t judge from only a few days unless your numbers skyrockets

I totally agree with @Freema @srobertson06 . Although many do give up metformin as it can only help with bgs by 2-3mmol/l improvement. Myself I get more than lower bgs from metformin. It works for me. Hormonally.

Thank you. No change in diabetes medication for now as my scores are moving in the right direction. To be reviewed again after next Hb1c in July. Back on the statins though as cholesterol up to 6.1.
