My very first fasting blood this morning and it was 7.2. I don't know if this reading is going to be a norm for me yet but hopefully I will get it down to more acceptable levels soon. I must be honest and say I forgot to do it on waking and had had two cups of tea (no sugar and just a splash of skimmed milk) before I remembered. Suffice to say I'm not a morning person!
