Am type1 diabetes. Can i eat grapes??

Hi Umar, yes you can as long as you match your quick acting insulin dose to the amount of carbs in the grapes, are you carb counting or on fixed insulin doses ?

Also would you like me to move your thread into type 1 ?

Hi and welcome :).

I am unsure about why you posted this here. Do you have an eating disorder @umar54?

You can certainly eat grapes. You can eat anything you like as long as you take the insulin you need to cover the carbohydrate content. I like freezing them when it's really hot, so refreshing to have when it's baking outside!

You can eat grapes during type 1 diabetes. Because fruits are high in glucose and fructose and this is important part of the diabetic meal plan. And grapes are considered healthy foods because they are rich in minerals, vitamins, fibber, and other nutrients.

I love grapes for treating hypo's. Taste much better than dextro tablets!
