Hi,
Only seen this site today. Have been type 2 diabetic for 6 years. Have had good control until lately. Had review yesterday and told not good control. Need to lose weight and get back in check. Apparently I don't eat properly. I work nights and only eat twice a day. Teatime when I get up, and take my medication, and then again before I go to bed.
I can't eat at work, never feel like it, and sometimes dont get time. Can usually manage 3 cups of tea. Occasionally crackers or slice of toast.
I can't abide pasta, yogurts, anything sweet including fruit.
Anybody got any ideas?
Don't get much exercise because I have now developed rheumatoid arthritis, in my hands, feet and shoulders, and am on Methotrexate.

hello devilwoman
do you know what your level actually was when they told you your control wasn't good? And do you know what they mean by not eating properly?
Diabetes can be controlled by reviewing your diet but you have to know what you're aiming for. Many people on this forum have strong ideas about this! Take a look around and you'll find a huge amount of good information.
You can bring your levels down if you're determined.
