I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
Good Morning, my beautifully caring friends on the Type 2 Life thread of the http://www.diabetes.co.uk Forum,

This morning I will have achieved 95 days quit from tobacco, which is 3 months and 3 days abstinent from cigarettes - awesome!

I've ingested a smoked glass mug of decaf coffee with 3 sugars but no milk because I've run out and also a smoked glass mug of decaf coffee with one sugar and no milk because I've run out.

I haven't eaten anything yet.

I've also taken my morning medication and anti-diabetic injection.

My blood glucose reading this morning at 6:19 antemeridian is 9.6 mmol/L.

Lots of love and hugs with my best wishes and abundant prayers for you all.

@JohnnyBaker12021970, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome, Adult ADHD and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus which is insulin-resistant xXx.

I had a good day at the council flat of my friend, Ioanna, whilst she is in her temporary accommodation in Norwood Junction, for the boiler specialists to carry out the annual gas safety check. Ioanna may be getting re-housed owing to people nearby bullying her for her money and assaulting her. She has a mental health disability, type 2 diabetes mellitus and spinal injury. Out of all her associates, me, our friend Lee and our christian friend Matthew are the only real good friends she's got. Ioanna knows about my autism and how lovely, but misunderstood by my past friends, my mum and dad and late sister were. For my birthday she bought me a black puffer jacket and 2 jumpers and for her birthday I bought her a day to page 2018 engagement diary for all her hospital and key worker appointments and a birthday card with a poem inside it that I penned myself, from my heart.

So far, I've eaten 22 stale rich tea biscuits from around Ioanna's council flat, a deep pan cheesy pepperoni pizza and 2 melted cheese halves of sandwich.

Lots of love with my sincere kind regards,

@JohnnyBaker12021970 , a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome, Adult ADHD and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus xXx.

It's lovely to hear from you @JohnnyBaker12021970. Try and watch those 3 sugars in your drinks. It will make you yearn for more carby foods, which can escalate and cause weight gain and high bgs.

Morning everyone , just popping in to see how your all coping with our weather . Ron's scan got cancelled due to snow now been RE scheduled for 12th. He's not been sleeping very well mainly due to pain. His chest pains seem to be holding off as he switched back to dihydrocodeine , and no he didn't go to hospital to get checked out as gp advised. This coming week he wants to go back on Tramadol so fingers crossed it wasn't them that cause the problem. Take care out there especially our friends up in Scotland . Xxx

Hi @tina_marie as one of your Scottish friends, we've been snowed in for three days we live in the area which had the red warning but we are all fine. Still getting snow showers but much better today hoping to be able to collect our son from his supported flat today - the staff have been magnificent and two of them have been snowed in with him, one walking miles in over the knee-high snow to get there.
Love to you and Ron, I'm so sorry to find that after my absence of a few months from the forum I come back to find that you still haven't got to the bottom of his various illnesses. How that man has suffered. Kindest good wishes to you both

Thank you , fingers crossed that you make it to get your son. My youngest son has been calling in on our old neighbour to make sure she's OK. I've been watching on the news how bad Scotland has been hit . We are nowhere near as bad. It's been amazing to see how people have worked together to make sure our nurses and care staff get to work. X

I was just very naughty. I had a massive deep pan bbq chicken pizza. That's got too many devil-carbs in it! I don't know what made me do it. I was doing so well in cutting out devil-carbs, I really was. But at least I'm still drinking decaff coffee with no sugar. I'm also 101 days quit from smoking tobacco, too. My blood sugar, now, at 9:51 am gmt is a colossal 12.4.

I've just ingested a cheeseburger with relish and melted cheese which I bought with my carer for £1.70 and microwaved in my 700-watt capacity microwave oven for 1 minute and 15 seconds and left to stand for 30 seconds. I also had 2 cups of coffee with full cream milk and 2 teaspoonfuls of "Xylotol" artificial granulated sweetener. My blood glucose reading was 9.6.

i've just ingested my smoked-glass mug of normal, caffeinated instant coffee with whole milk and 3 sugars, but i haven't had anything to eat. my blood glucose reading, now, at 2:19 am gmt on saturday 10th march 2018 in the common era is a very hyperglycaemic 11.2 mmol/L. my sugar intake is exorbitant and there are a lot of carb-rich foods in my diet. not good.

Hi everyone!

Up through the night still but far more comfortable than I was. Co-codamol and codeine did absolutely nothing for my pain. :(
Back on tramadol and my low mood has lifted too. I was sooo depressed.
Tramadol was fantastic last year, it took my pain away so I could walk without significant pain but this time it's just taking the sharp breathtaking back pain away. I was in pure agony. Having an experimental small walk attempt this afternoon, if no heavy rain.
Tramadol helps me sleep, unfortunately more mid afternoon as it builds up in my system but better that than horrific pain throughout my day.
I'm awake but more due to high bg of 17.2 gulp! I've took some corrective insulin so hoping to wake again at 8am in 5s. We'll see.
Blurry vision so stopping this post now.

Hope everyone is well. ickihun.

I'm so sorry to hear about your low mood and excruciating back pain, @ickihun, my good friend, and also for your hyperglycaemia. In my ADHD that equates my Asperger Syndrome, I'm also susceptible to mood disturbances and depressive ideation, which is probably why I alternate between low appetite and comfort eating, as well as craving sugar and stodgy foods, like carb-rich foods, which according to the low carb high fat diet, which is what this site recommend, is the worst thing a diabetic can do. I'm so pleased that I quit smoking, though, I guess I never knew before what I was capable of. That's thanks to the support on this site, plus my cognitive behaviour therapy and mindfulness treatments.

Lots of love from Johnny, with my best wishes and sincere kind regards. xXx.

Good Afternoon, my dear, fine friends on the Type 2 Life thread of the http://www.diabetes.co.uk Forum at 1:37 Post Meridian (Greenwich Mean Time) on Saturday 10th March 2018 in the Common Era,

I had a good, rested day today after a good, replenishing night's sleep and spoke to my elderly 87-year-old father on Facebook Video Call (Messenger) and he told me to forget the hurtful things people have said to me in the past about my weight, my appearance, my family background and upbringing (which was perfectly happy and a real blessing to be familiar with the pleasant memories of my dear mother and older sister and the etiquette they taught me in addressing fellow human beings with a thoughtful good morning, good afternoon and good evening, to wash my hands after using the lavatory, to wash my hands before mealtimes and before food preparation and to clean up after myself, like cleaning and scrubbing the bathtub after use and echoing my mother's words in "Everything in its rightful place". Those are pleasant, dear memories of my childhood, and I remember my Nan who lived with us used to like to pray the Grace before eating our meals to thank the good Lord and to say my prayers at bedtime.

I haven't eaten very much today, through having no interest in eating much apart from the two cans of Sainsbury's Basics Chilli Con Carne which cost £0.65 pence each.

My blood glucose reading, after my smoked-glass mug of Sainsbury's Rich Roast Caffeinated instant coffee with three teaspoonfuls of granulated cane sugar (refined) and a dash of Sainsbury's blue-top full-cream milk, was a very good, healthy 6.9 Millimoles Per Litre.

Lots of love with sincere kind regards and my best wishes,

@JohnnyBaker12021970, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome and Adult ADHD xXx.
