TENS Machine reviews?!!

Hi all,
I’ve been told by a few people that TENS machine is good for helping pain in labour...
Does anyone have any experience of using one if any good or not worth it?!!

These TENS machines were all the rage in the '90s for labour pains. I was given the use of one when I had my second child. To be honest, a warm bath was more soothing at the early stage than the machine was for me. That is just me, though, we are all different and each pregnancy/labour is different.

Many years later I was loaned a TENS for muscular pain and found it more annoying than soothing. If you can scrounge the loan of one it may give you an idea. Good luck.

I used a TENS machine in the early stages of labour and found it really helped me cope with the pain! I hired one from mothercare as they can be quite expensive to buy and wasn’t sure how I would get on with it! xxx

I used one throughout labour too (and had 48hrs to try it out during labour) and really liked it. I hired it from Tescos pharmacy and it wasn't a bad price xx
