insulin needles and sizes

hey im currently using 5mm glucro insulin needles i find im getting lump and bleeds somtimes. also i wanted to ask is there a differnce in absorbption of insulin in differnt size needle example 5mm 4mm 6mm

I have used 6mm and 4mm needles.
I noticed no difference in absorption on the insulin.
The only difference was slightly less bruising with the shorter needles.

I am slim and have no "lumps" from injecting so I may not be a good sample.

6 and 8 mm here...also, massaging the injection site helps avoiding the lumps

Just moved from 6mm to 4mm. have noticed no difference in the absorption just a bit more comfortable in doing the jabs

Told by medical personnel that nobody needs to be using anything bigger than 4mm.

5mm here. Is massaging the site a good thing?? If so I might see if I can get a decent 'massage'

I was given the same advice as becca59 though I do have some 8mm just in case I run out of 4mm needles.
