I eat Kellogs Crunchy Nut Cornflakes :). I do my jab about 3/4 an hour beforehand and get very little spike (most of the time). Would be better if I got up earlier so I could bolus an hour and a half before

Hi Jackie,
Shredded wheat, weetabix & cornflakes in that order is the lowest amount of sugar you can get in a cereal if that helps. ;)

Hi @Jackie100 . Most cereals will usually result in a spike. This doesn't mean that they are off limits though:).
Pre bolusing as mentioned is the best way to smooth out the spike but having to wait that half hour or more first thing in the morning is not always convenient.
Oats and a bit of peanut butter is something I occasionally go for. A 15 min pre bolus and I manage to stay fairly flat.
Trial and error I guess.

Aren't all cereals carbs by definition?
