5.5 this morning. Very pleased with that compared with the regular 9s of the last couple of months.
The 3.9 yesterday was a deliberate effort to 'bottom out' to see if that would help get things back on track but there was no way I could sustain that effort.
So yesterday I had a normal routine. Ate a fair bit of food (about 1900 calories), didn't do any exercise outside of hobbies that I enjoy (a very nice bike ride and short walk) and even ate my last food quite late, which is never a good idea for me, and it was quite carby (about 20g).
It's given me hope that I may be able to 'cheat' my way through the HbA1c in three weeks, since blood sugars closer to the time apparently affect the average a lot more than earlier ones. If I stick to less carby foods and doing the walking after the last food at night I may be able to keep things nice and low, this seems to have worked in the past.
