in my youf I was in a highland pipe band and also played, badly, the Northumbrian small pipes. Here is the wonderful Lottie Cullen playing Colonel Fraser on the uillean pipes. I could never get to grips with this extraordinary instrument and the regulators that Lottie demonstrates here with such skill.

I was 'naughty' yesterday. Forgot my headphones and I always get off the bus 2 stops early to get some exercise, so I had my phone playing Linkin Park as I was walking along. I got some strange looks, and why - because I'm not a teenager, I'm a woman of nearly 50 years old. Who said I cant be a rebel?
