My AM fasting BG is always higher than at any other time except within 2 hours after a meal, and sometimes higher even than those.
I'm concerned about this 'upsetting' my doctor when I have my next fasting bg test at the surgery.
I suppose it would be silly to have a bedtime snack the night before? Normally I don't eat from about 20:00.
Then again, if I had a couple of buttered oatcakes at 23:00 and gave the blood sample at 09:00 the following morning, I would still have fasted for 10 hours! Would this be long enough for a fasting cholesterol test?
I might give it a try and report back - but any advice gratefully appreciated!
