I have developed shooting pains in my right hand recently and a general weakness because of this. I’ve googled it and it came up with neuropathy straight away. If this is neuropathy, does anybody have any experience, wisdom or advice on making the pain go away please?

Don't rule out carpal tunnel syndrome...

When I had a very mild case of carpal tunnel I was just advised to take some nurofen/ibuprofen (ie anti-inflammatory painkiller). I'd probably try it in your case unless you've other conditions which make it contra-indicated.

But please see a real doctor. Dr Google is not always your friend.

Spoke to a doctor acquaintance today and she said that neuropathy is usually in the tips of all the fingers, not just pain in the little finger so hopefully this is nothing to do with neuropathy.
