Not quite the same for T2s. The only option many of us have is to stick to a low carb diet. With no bolus those free chocolates just aren't worth the spikes.
Edit: @RW47 If I am ever in shop at the same time as you I will give you my free chocolate. Being able to eat treats like that is the only perk of being a T1 as opposed to T2 I reckon, so enjoy it.

Sorry if I have upset anybody and I do realise how difficult it can be to adjust to the problems of Diabetes but all this rubbish I hear from T2 Diabetics about it’s alright for you because you are only T1 does my head in .
If you had been diagnosed with the disease in the 50s you would have reason to complain especially about having to boil your glass and metal syringe before use and testing your urine in a test tube with tablets.
