Just been reading the averages of the numbers from the diadigits. 10 hypos a week, is anyone actually getting close to this? And for it to be an average that must mean some are having much more. I'm really interested now to see how many people are having.

Well if this Etch A Sketch is to be believed and my Low point is 5 mol/L then I have had 13 in the last 7 days

But @ Knikki, 5 mmol/l does not sound like hypo range.?? 3.6 mmol/l maybe??

Wondering how we worked out your DiaDigits? Find out our averages here ( this is right at the bottom of the page.

I run low, and when I saw the nurse who setup the Libre she asked what do you want your base set as?

I said 4, it is what I have always worked off.

She replied, Too low I'll set it at 5.

I shrugged my shoulders and said OK.

Note that over the past 5 or more years my Hb1Ac has been around the 38 mark, I can see why she set it there :)

Actually looking at the info again it appears that on the Etch A Sketch it only goes into the red when it is below 4 so yes I would say that I have had 13 issues when I have dropped below 4 :)

I think she might have done so as a hedge against tolerating actual borderline hypo numbers like 3.6 mmol/l and because of driving regulations.

Bigotry, reliance on unsupported 'facts', unkindness, unfairness.
Taking an easy calculation I’ve had 1.5 hours in hypoland every day of my dialife - according to JDRF! Ah well, just mix with the highs, in a retro cocktail shaker, of course, shake, not stir, and pour. Cherry on top optional.

My freestyle libre says I've had 9 hypos over the last 7 days. Mostly they are quite small dips, and some of them aren't real, because the blood tests keep me hanging in there, just above.

I often have a small hypo a couple of hours after I've taken the Levemir, so it's not that hard to get to ten a week, in my view.

Looks like there might be another tubeless patch pump on it's way, this time from Roche. The press release says it will be in a pilot commercialisation phase in a few weeks in Austria, Poland, Switzerland and the UK. They say future versions will loop.

Edit to add: I see that @tim2000s is already on the case!

This also caught my eye, a "wearable pen", or, as some might say, a "poor man's pump":

Now that more of are using cgm and getting into the Sugar Surfing thing, I quite like the idea of not going full on pump, but just having something stuck to me to do small adjustments without an injection. Although the fact that it seems just to do multiples of 2u ain't that pretty.

Lovely day out with the fam in Marlborough, sugars took a bit of surge late morning, so will put that on a watching brief for a couple of days before making any basal rate changes. Pinged my nine day old sensor off when I got changed just now :banghead: so thought I’d recharge the MiaoMiao while it’s warming up :borg:

Pod change in an hour...

I took a post breakfast spike to the pool with the young un and it came down, I ate a little lunch then my mate came round and we did a 13 mile blast on the bikes, I could feel a drop at 7 miles and a one handed libre scan said 4.5 so we stopped and I had some dextrotabs and got home on a 5 dropping, so I had another couple of dextrotabs and I'm at 7.6 arrow pointing up, which is annoying as my next mission is the gym to catch up with yesterdays missed session and I'm a bit tired :)

I've a couple of chicken breasts defrosting for a curry for a late tea hoping not to need a correction jab aforehand, but a pretty mellow Sunday all in all.
