Problems With Adhesive Patch

Due to weather or maybe faulty adhesive patch that comes with Medtronic Mio. It tends to come loose or stop sticking resulting in canula getting pulled out. Any tips on how I can make it stick better.

Advise is to change every 2 days now ( used to be every 3). It has been hot / sweaty perhaps in recent weeks so this could lessen the adhesion.

I always change my Mio after a shower and wait for dry skin. Don’t use a swab.

If they are still breaking away the. You can try tegaderm (? Spell) to hold them in. Also you can get a SkinTac spray that is like glue for skin... but removal is a bit of an ouch experience.

Talk with your DNS - they may have some additional ideas.
