Is anyone have an abnormal Haemoglobin A1c level, blood?
I have: it means I cannot have My HbA1c test but have to do The Fructosamine blood test instead. Here's the result; 325, 0.5 over the well control line.

48 hours only this time. Did a 5 day water fast only earlier this month and succeeded in reducing my FBG levels from 8.2 to 4.4.
Once I broke the fast FBG started creeping upwards.
I am hoping to do a longer fast starting Monday next week. Why?
Just to detox and giving the body a chance to heal itself.

Hope all goes well with the fast. I did a series of these earlier in the year. Did nothing for hba1c but did take my weight below a BMI of 22. Adversely affected cholesterol (which some research suggests) and general well being. It has taken about 5 months to effect repairs. Hope you have good results as many others have - I hope I am an anomaly.
