My sports bra is a very secure holder (a sturdy normal bra also works) but the real thing may well come with a velcro belt and pouch. I hate those so the bra or jeans pocket works fine for me but having a shorter 'lead' is useful for that purpose!
At night it can float free of any restraint since you will naturally be aware of it in my experience and that of my diabetic type 1 friends.. Is that an AcuChek combo btw?

Thanks for the info yes it's AcuChek combo.
Do you need to touch the pump or just the hand machine as I have to wear a uniform dress for work and does it show through clothes.

I have the next version but from memory I used the handset blood test kit to communicate with the pump so no need to fish it out of my underwear! I also ran a marathon with it.
Unless your 'uniform' is that of a pole dancer then it should not show through if stuck mid cleavage. Sorry if that's TMI. There is a also a type 1 lady who has invented pump pocket undies and bra:

Pump Dr appointment this morning and he has said yes to me going onto a pump :)
Have now got to wait for an appointment with the pump team and DSN (who is the pump team leader!?) and yet another dietitian appointment. Now it is another waiting game for the said appointments top come through the door.

Well done hopefully not too long to wait now. I have my trail in November I have been waiting 2 years to be approved after all the carb counting etc. I can't wait either. Good luck

Chat with Dsn and work out the cost of hospital admissions as 1 999 call out + A&E + 3-7 day stay in hospital will most likely cost more than a pump running costs and the waste of bed space as well.

My doctor said yes but it still took over 12 months to get. As it has to be approved by consultant. Also to get it considered by consultant I had to be put forward by Diabetes Specialist Nurse. (who was wonderfull)

By dietitian had put me up in front of the pump committee!! Then I needed to be prescribed the Libre (have had that since January) then be put on Fiasp, done and then had to wait for the pump consultant. Now he has said I have to see the DSN who is head of the pump team......It has taken ages and I know it will probably take an age more BUT it is happening now :) :)

When I saw DSN still took very long time. I had one retire whilst dealing with me. I had already done DAFNE, before trying for one

Hi all i need some help. I now am on a accu-chek compo pump and had this just under a month. Every time I try to do my reports to send to the hospital I'm not sure if I'm doing it right as I was told to turn the pump off and when I do this and try to do this the reports don't show my results. When I think it's been done I turn the pump back on but there is no connection to the blood meter and pump. Any advise would be great as the diabetic nurse doesn't help. They say just do want it says on the computer. ....

Hi @kimlouise1502_ there could be many reasons why you cannot get it to work, better to call the Accucheck Tech help line and they will walk through it with you to get it working ;-)
