I received my Tee2 yesterday and started testing!
My pre dinner was 5.3 & 2 hour post was 6.0
My fasting one this morning came out at 6.7! Is this normal?

football, both the game and the culture.
Same boat as you TrendyD, only just started testing myself and not sure what is normal yet.
No doubt someone will tell us.
Have a good day.

Hi TrendyD and SlimLizzy
Here’s a table of levels you’re aiming for:
https://www.diabetes.co.uk/diabetes_care/blood-sugar-level-ranges.html
TrendyD, don’t be too concerned about your fasting level just yet, it’ll be due to dawn phenomenon (or liver dump), and is often the last reading to normalise after you have taken action to reduce levels. Here’s an interesting read about it:
https://www.diabetes.co.uk/blood-glucose/dawn-phenomenon.html

Thank you Rachox I will have a read. Thank you also for the Tee2 recommendation.

@TrendyD Yes those are good readings. The NHS/NICE guidelines are in the link provided by @Rachox , but here is the summary:

Higher morning readings are pretty common due to "dawn phenomenon." Also, the margin of error on home testing can be pretty big.

Your meal readings look very good! I would keep an eye on things and if the fasting is always higher maybe ask your HCP about it. Some folks with persistent high fasting #s have success with specific evening snacks, metformin, or other tricks they've worked out.
