my night time and before breakfast blood sugar are good, but when i have toast for breakfast up goes my blood sugar 16.7,i know its carbs but love my toast .Iam very good with my diet but cant give up toast.Iam on lantus 90 units before breakfast.Any sugestions.Thanks

Do you get the low carb bread by Helgas?

It's about 10 or 11 grams per slice here in Australia

Herman Brot low carb bread is lower than that, I buy this bread and it's excellent. It's not available in NZ though.

Freya's low carb bread is about 10g per slice? And is available in NZ.
