Hello
I’ve recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It was all sudden as I live a healthy lifestyle and only 2 family members with T1.(didn’t think I would get it)
But recently I have been getting really bad paranoia about death and how I could die in my sleep due to diabetes and more stuff on the lines of that. Im wandering if paranoia this bad is normal when recently being diagnosed or should I seek medical attention.

Thanks, Arun

Hi @arunemils, Sudden shocks and news can send any of us into mental turmoil.
Certainly it sounds like a wise idea to seek help and advice about your symptoms and fears.
Also if there is a local group of T1Ds in your area joining them might be a useful local support for you.
Best Wishes :):):)
