Novamix 30 --- 3 times a day

Hi All..

Been happily taking my Novamix 30 for years, and apart from some weight gain, my bloods have been under good control. But over the last couple of months my BG at lunch time has been a lot lower, and a struggle to get the tea time reading below 7. It has been suggested that I change the Novamix 30 from the "normal" twice a day to three times a day, by splitting the morning dose between breakfast and lunch..

I have no problems with this, but was just wondering how many others use Novamix 30 three times a day, or perhaps are also splitting the tea time does as well to cover tea and supper and perhaps inject it 4 times a day.

Just to clarify, who has suggested your inject Novomix/30 three times per day?
Your DSN, GP or medical specialist?

My Diabetic Nurse suggested it.
If the morning doesage causes a hypo event, the morning dose can be split between breakfast and lunch .. When I was initially told this, I did a bit of research and found this .. Section 4.2.. https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/product/1600/smpc
Curiosity is another reason why I was asking if others were doing it
