Mrs Molly

Lots of short walkies for little Wispa

No footy today I could have went but decided against it

Are you off with Mr Clive this weekend?
@Cumberland ....yes, just spending the weekend together at home....:)

....guess Wispa only likes short walks because of her short little legs.....do you have to carry her when she gets tired.....perhaps you need a doggy bag to carry her in when she gets weary...:D:joyful:.......so pleased she is good company for you...

....any plans for tomorrow.....hoping to get out in the garden if the sun shines....:)

@wolfie11969 sorry to hear you aren't doing well, I hope things improve for you.

Today I am sat on here and also have Battlestar Galactica in the background. I'm hoping to get out at some point today, since not been too good myself I haven't really been out. I work from home which hasn't helped in this regard.

Hope you all are enjoying your weekends!

thankyou. Need some form of support as hubby is the kind that you dont worry til you're told. Hmmm I've been told by my GP what they think it is. Yes I should wait for consultant but hey ho I dont know what I'm talking about.

I do appreciate the support of my internet friends

Waiting for the 2 beautiful granddaughters to arrive so we can have Sunday lunch together. They keep me on my toes.

Later on a nice warm bath with my book and a glass of gin and tonic

Enjoy your day

About 4-6 short walks I’ve been doing with her weather permitting around about our local area

I’m planning to take her to Ullswater, Talkin Tarn, Solway Coast, Hadrians Wall and over the border for lots and lots of country walks, they’re all accessible by car 20 mins to 45 mins

At the moment she’s getting used to the car for short 5-10 minute drives

How are you keeping Wolfie?

Hi cumberland I'm Ok ty. Enjoying the days walking the dog and reading books. I buy loads and still reserve from the library lol.

Off out in a mo to take Freddie for his trot. I see you have a wee pup of your own. Beautiful from the pictures. Any reason behind it? Ie keep you fit, make you go out daily?

You enjoy your days with wee Wispa. Our Freddie is a pain in the rear end but he's our pain. Decided this morning to wake us up to the sound of paper ripping. He had the tv guide and well I dont have one any more hee hee.

How's the health doing my friend?

Decided to get a puppy after I retired last November

I am struggling to walk and needed an incentive to get me more active and not to sit and waste away

She is a miniature dachshund so only has very little legs and doesn’t require miles and miles of exercise which in all honesty I couldn’t manage

I bet Freddie is good fun
Have you any photos of him?

She loves the artificial grass she stretches out and lies on it as when the sun shines the grass gets warm

We got Freddie to make us go out too. We had another greyhound before Freddie called Logan. In the end the arthritis got too much for him so he couldnt go out for walks even though his head said yes please his body was screaming no thanks. We waited nearly a year to get another dog. Freddie needs about half hour a day exercise so we take him over the nature reserve about 3 miles from where we live. As he is an ex racer he is used to travelling.

And yes a dog will make you do some form of walking. Be good for the circulation in the old feet too.

And yes I have pictures, just need to work out how to upload them as I'm not very clued up on this sort of thing.

You enjoy your time with Wispa, she's gorgeous

Morning folks

Well sunny day here in the Midlands but perishingly cold.

Day of mayhem in Wolfie's world

Car mechanic cus Betty is poorly sick. Apparently some sensors in the exhaust need replacing. Now to find out how much it will cost
Visitors that will discuss with us what they can do with the car, if feasible
Gas engineer to check the source is ok
Daughter and 2 granddaughters due here for tea - sausages, chips, egg and beans. Granddaughter number 1 stoppping overnight
Other daughter and fiance popping in with a pressie for Ava-May
And stepson back from college

And to think all I wanted to do was to read my book

Enjoy your day

@Cumberland and @wolfie11969 thanks, y'all are encouraging me to get up and get out and walk around outside. There's not much room to walk out in the "garden" of this apartment building but the great thing is that the building is so huge (3 buildings joined together) that I can get plenty of exercise walking the corridors in bad weather and at night.

I'm thinking about moving to a small town in the mountains. Lots of trees and grass, and a half-mile walk into town. Downhill all the way! and uphill all the way back.
