Hi does anyone know if the libre sensors now have the new adhesive on them as I had an allergic reaction to my last sensor . I informed abbots and sent them pics etc .
They said they were going to be using a new adhesive in April .
Many thanks

Hi,
I’ve just received a new batch of sensors but they still have the old glue on them. I can tell because I react very badly to the glue and my arm is itching like mad. I did read that someone squirted pirinase on their arm then used a barrier wipe. I’ve tried it but it hasn’t worked. I also read that someone removed the glue. I tried this, used a skin tac and secured in place with some skin foil but the sensor couldn’t be read as it wasn’t in contact with the skin sufficiently.
I’m hopeful that the new glue will be on the sensors once I’ve finished my current batch.
Good luck!
