I've just read the thread quickly so apologies if anyone has already suggested these - I found them last week. Tesco do a 20g pack of unsweetened coconut flakes, 12.9g fat, 1.5g carbs, 1.5g protein, 3.0g fibre.

I absolutely love them for a snack - I'm trying to avoid snacking on the whole but when it's really necessary they hit the spot. I've also struggled for convenience food/snacks because of the additives or unwanted sugar.

They survive well in the bottom of a bag too!

Edit: they do have metabisulphate as a preservative, but nothing else.

For camping it depends on what facilities you have for cooking and keeping stuff cool. Breakfast is easy - full English or eggs in any way you like. I have also made both of these cereals and taken in tupperware:

For dinner, make things at home that you can just reheat - not sure how long you are away for...
Lunch is always a tricky one as you will probably be out and about so some easily portable snacks:

You could also make kale or Parmesan crisps.

Have a great time camping!

These are great ideas, I am going away for 2 weeks but have good access to cooking facilities and cold storage so I think I will be taking your advice and planning before I go and will try and meal prepare. Have to say much as I’m a bit anxious I am also looking at it as a bit of an adventure and challenge.. thank you so much for answering.. I would not be as far a long as I am without all on here who have shared their experiences..
