Hi, hi LizAnne. I don't wish to alarm you but you may want to look at the latest concerns re Gabapentin.

No longer on metformin or statins; long term - beta blocker (mainly for migraine prevention though I've not had a "proper!" one for 5 years since starting LCHF), and blood pressure meds; non prescription glucosamine/chondroitin for knee issues (also long term).

I take Levothyroxine and Liothyronine daily, because my thyroid gland became a real absolute layabout, and Vit D3 with K2.

hi everyone, i am on 2x1000mg xr plus crestor a day just started from the 9th April, my reading on the blood test was 8.9% h1aglc (?) and yesterday i tested it was 10.3%, so am going on a low carb diet, just found out soya milk does not help ketosis, and will test again tomorrow morning. I walk an average of 9km a day, only for the last week actually....any advise on what to stop eating to lower my blood sugar?

Rice, pasta, potatoes, cakes and pastries, sugary stuff, lollies, soft drink.

You can eat dairy products, plenty of meat with fat on, chicken, fish, shellfish, green veggies, salads etc...
