Tjis what I dont get. The diabetes.co.uk states that they are ok then someone says it's not or I read some artcle that says it's not. The same is for other things. The information is all very conflicting you read one article that states certain foods are good. You click another link and there it states its not. Like fruit I read that diabetica can eat fruit then ibread they can't. Greek yogurt is supposed to be ok but i checked that sugar/carb levels and they are higher than in other stuff.Welcome to the forum @Lizzie34. Shredded Wheat, along with all cereals, isn't good for Type 2 diabetics or pre-diabetics, as they are high in starchy carbohydrates which turn to sugar quickly in our bodies.
It's good you have a bg meter as that will help you determine which foods raise your bgs.
Read @daisy1 's information and have a read round the forum and ask any questions you want to.
