Cholesterol: GP discussion and my decision....

Not quite sure where to begin on that - Total is 11.7, HDL 1.7, triglycerides 1.8 and LDL (this is the worrying one) 9.2.

I just use an on line calculator, maths isn’t my strong point!

Just a "victim" of medical orthodoxy and uninformed doctors probably like so many of us.
I have started to question just about everything I'm "told" these days which can have some unfortunate as well as fortunate outcomes!

I have low, then medium-low, then medium. Three bears, just slightly smaller ones!

Awww guys...I feel I am really missing out now. I don't have any recent cholesterol figures as I refused to have it tested at my annual check. I have so long to wait till the next one lol

Mine was low, medium, medium which seems far more acceptable than high! I shan't be complacent though - I do need to make some dietary tweaks.

They do a cholesterol test with full breakdown at our local pharmacy, on request for £16!

My GP said they were "Good good" with a big smile...
