Although different fingers often give different readings I have tried what is now a whole drawerful of meters many don't give consistent or accurate results against test solutions. Test solutions do have a wide range but a good meter will give a reading right in the middle of the range stated on the bottle. Make to rinse your to rinse your hand in running water and most importantly don't leave the lid off the strip container as they are affected by atmospheric moisture.
