Sorry Mods - didn't realise :banghead:

I am tired, relaxed and comfy. All that is left to make the evening complete is snuggling up with husband to watch some DVD's old TV series!
I'm tired too, got any space for me to snuggle in? :hilarious:
When my bf and I moved and we were waiting over a month for the internet to be installed, we watched most of the DVDs he had stacked in a box.

So does anyone think it is a bit early for halloween? My bf didn’t look too impressed. It’s the korean bubble face mask ;)

OMG @MeiChanski what is it’s name? There’s a K-Mart round the corner from work (Korean pop, food, home wares and assorted stuff) they’ll have some I’m sure, but what am I looking/asking for? Will bubble mask be enough?

Wow, @becca59 that is a very flat line.
Mine has varied between 43 and 136 over the last 2 weeks. I have not set up mine to test all the time only on demand so it could be lower when I am asleep and I very much expect it to be higher when I am mid sprint.

Ah mine is an average as it’s constantly monitoring.

Absolutely not too early for beer.
If anyone should suggest 4:45 is too early, I would remind them it is late enough somewhere in the world.

And you have a medical need for beer ... or carbs of some sort.

As the Alan Jackson song goes, “its 5 O’clock somewhere!”

Theres a mask section in ASDA called SUGU beauty - bubble sheet mask. I guess it depends on your skin care needs - ASDA have a range from bubbles for exfoliating to moisturing/ soothing. I use to have a routine to do a face mask per week, if I'm rich, I'd do a face mask every day. I keep it on longer than the packaging suggest and if it's the serum kind of masks, I'll rub the serum on my neck and arms. I look for the ones only made in Korea, with the least fraguence and parabens. The one I'm using is suitable for vegans, not tested on animals, gluten free and sulphate free.
I have a more expensive face mask called Laneige firming sleeping pack and it is very fragrant, not my favourite because it is wet and sticky. It's also a sleeping mask, so you sleep with it on. I know some ladies use one for exfoliating, then one hydrating and then eye masks.

@Diakat Theres masks that come in boxes of 5 or 10. I know TK maxx has a very nice selection of masks - if you happen to shop there, make sure it is not expired. Most Asian beauty products have an expiry date. :)

Just out of curiosity, do you make your own veggie sausages? I think Lindas are okay, her burgers are nicer but the price for the amount is eh, unless it is on offer.

@MeiChanski that mask looks as if you’re either ready to take part in a superhero movie or seriously scare the staff next time you shop. I must get them for when grandsons come to see if I’ve got jellybabies by the bed.

It started to foam up and my bf looked really worried "why is it foamy?"
It was foaming around the perimeters of my face so it looked like I had a beard of some sort. Like I dunked my face into a bowl of fairy washing up liquid. :hilarious:

Just back from Deal and the Syrian food was better than wonderful - I had the one that was described as like a tagine but not a tagine with filo pastry on top. Chicken, apricots, almonds, zatar, a paste of something I can only guess at that was lovely, salad with big couscous, fresh beetroot and sliced white cabbage, lentils and tahini dressing. Then such a large piece of halva that even with tasters’ forks swooping I’ve brought half of it home. And internet info plus guesstimate doses worked, stayed in the 6s.

I will be glad when I am released from my civic duty but can't see any light at the end of the tunnel I'm currently well and truly stuck in. The only possible sensible answer to today was chips. They were splendid.

Thanks Molly, I didn't think of that at the time, but it dawned on me, I don't think my Fitness tracker has the heart monitor.

How are you and Mr Clive ?
@Robinredbreast ....we are both good thank you....Clive is busy with Chinese and American tourists at the moment....for those who live in Oxford area he was there with some just the other day....I’m busy with our garden....missed garden group today because my car wouldn’t start and battery had died so had to call out breakdown service...all fixed now and bank balance lighter.....will reschedule group for one day next week...we both have a day off tomorrow so think we will find somewhere nice for lunch...hope you are enjoying your summer with your family :)
....re Fitbit trackers.....some do have the heart rate monitor and some don’t.....think it just depends on the model

To much politics and what the NHS actually needs is the interest rates to go back up so the massive pot of money they sit on to funds things becomes more cash rich.
A separate Tax wont cure the NHS it is too much a political football with too many "good souls" interfering.

Anyway.

I have a Tassimo machine sat on my desk here at work, needs a clean a little more but going to get that working this week, get some pods and coffee galore.

Bloods? no idea no alarms have gone off so guess everything is OK at the moment.

Right coffee.

Have a fun day.
I’ve got one of those - if you like hot chocolate get the Tassimo milk pods, put some cocoa powder (I have Green&Blacks) into the glass/mug and use the machine to make your hot chocolate.

Hi,

Sooooo, MOT time (not me, the van.) No worries there..

But my insurance is up for renewal too.. So I had this vehicle for 3 years. (Jap import.) pretty pricey premium in comparrison to the previouss van. (An older Jap import of the same make but with a derv engine.) yep, I shopped about at the time & it was still the sanest policy on offer...
The second year of ownership it was increased by £20. Still sane.

This year I get a quote... It's down by 177 quid!? Bringing me back to what I was initially shelling out for the first van four years ago by the same company.. (That specialises in these wagons & sanctioned by an owners forum I'm a member of.)

Lol, how do they work the price structure out? Is it now my age? I only had one own fault prang in my distant yooooff... (1988?)

MOT time.... I'm personally due for one of these too... Lol, statins again anyone?

Insurance underwriting for cars is just bonkers @Jaylee. I long since gave up on trying to rationalise which risk factors did what to the total price.

It's riskier for me to park in my garage than outside on my driveway each night for some reason as an example.

Morning my scrumptious friends,
I got up quite a while ago - 2:30-3am, I guess I had around 4hours sleep. I think I was hungry so rolled out of bed to eat. My bg at the time was 7.7. I couldn’t sleep so now I’m rolling at 5.6. :)
I’m hoping to get some more sleep and get some work done later. My bf is going to see his parents this afternoon so I’ll embrace the peace and quiet. It’ll be much easier to clean and tidy the house without him, he usually accumulates mess.
