Charcot foot?

My spouse was recently diagnosed by a foot doctor with Charcot foot. He's waiting to get his CROW boot. His foot swelling does seem to go down during the night and his foot starts to swell again in the mornings. Is this typical with Charcot foot? I thought with this condition the swelling never goes away

Oh dear. It's shocking how quickly things can change - in your case, not for the better. Posts such as yours are very important on the forum, in my view, as a sharp reminder of that fact, and from an actual person, rather than someone writing an academic paper frorm a third party perspective.

I can't really add anything, except to wish you well with your op and recovery.

@aalexandrou - I don't think you mean to be quoting me. To my knowledge, my diabetes hasn't been misdiagnosed.
