Just cut my finger quite badly cooking just before testing. My bs numbers spiked. Could this be due to the bleeding wound?
Also if you didn't properly wash your hands (if you just testing using the blood from the cut) you may have had stuff on your fingers from the cooking that could affect it as well.Thank you both. Very informative.

but i can match that ..i think
mine was i bashed my toe, quite badly, just after diagnosis and i'd read all the stories of amputations etc..
..and i worried i might lose it...
sorry to hear of the cut, but the answers are all valid.
