Hi,

Just a quick question. I was wondering for people using the Libre, if (and how many) lows they are experiencing over a 90 day period, in my last 90 day period I have had 22, although I have changed to a low carb diet and have been trying to adjust dosage according but I still think 22 is too high a number for lows.

Just looking to see if with changing diet is this normal? I have the dosages mainly accurate now

Many users find that the Libre is not too accurate at the top and bottom ends of the normal range - do you verify with finger pricks?

Thanks guys, I don’t check with finger pricks all the time but I will start..

Also most of my lows are always around 3.5 (at the lowest) so that’s good to hear.

Appreciate all the help I’ll keep on top with finger pricks and see how that goes

I am about to give up on the Libre due to really inaccurate readings. I'm on my 3rd sensor (actually 5th sensor as 2 have gone bad & had to be replaced)
The difference between the Libre readings & a blood reading have been terrible. Examples of "LO" on sensor but 6.0 on finger prick.
My sensor readings are always at least 3mmol out - reading lower than they actually are, but these inaccuracies do vary so I can't even judge it day to day, & as far as MY health goes I cannot trust this system at all.
Great tech but not good for everyone & I won't be buying any more once I've used the ones I have.

Hi, @kazam401 , sure, libre can be sketchy at times and I don't trust reader scans that much.

But...

A lot of us have bought a small transmitter, MiaoMiao, which gets put on top of libre, and bluetooths readings to a cgm app every 5 mins, xDrip+ for android or Spike for iphones.

The apps let you type in a bg reading once a day or so, and that lets the app make much more sense of the number it's getting from the sensor. Many of my readings are only about 0.3 to 0.6 or so out.
