Type 1 almost 20 years and management gets better and better. Had a busy day but no excuse not to look after myself, Loving these days regularly now :).




Target range - 4-7mmol/L
Not low carb - ~150g/day
Fiasp/Lantus MDI's
Full time Chemical Engineer
Gym 6x a week
Xdrip+ with miaomiao and libre

To all those letting diabetes hold them back, don't let it be an excuse! Don't get me wrong its been a long road to get to where I am, but learning never stops...

Definitely, its good to acknowledge the good, gives that extra motivation for the bad times. But also hopefully encourages others!

We all get those days, and I find it works better to let it run slightly higher (~8 mmol/L) until I know its settled down and then correct, saves me from hypo'ing then over eating and the cycle goes on.

My management gets regularly tested on the weekend with my mothers fabulous cooking :)
