How come some readings are higher in the mornings and some lower? As I assume all are sleeping and not eating in the night. Does it depend on what you have eaten that day?
Hi @ChrissyW morning fasting readings can be higher than the previous night due to 'Dawn Phenomenon' where the liver dumps stored glucose into the bloodstream on waking to give the body an energy boost for the day. It's quite common, and non-diabetics can experience it too.
