I have been type 1 diabetic for almost a year and I'm just now getting my head around it.
I was brought up on cereal/toast for breakfast, sandwhich for lunch and pasta/rice/potatoes for dinner. So the idea of low carb is quite daughnting but I realise its the way forward.
I'm looking at the possibility of starting off at daily carbs of 100-125g for a couple of weeks are gradually bringing it down to lower level.
Is there any website I could check out for meal ideas and recipes
